A native of Taiwan, Yuhan Yeh began her formal piano studies at the age of five. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in piano performance from Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California, as a recipient of the Dorothy Gleason Memorial Endowed Piano Scholarship, and the Norris Foundation Grant. She earned her Master of Music degree from Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, and her Bachelor of Music degree from Taipei National University of the Arts in Taiwan. Her principal teachers include Prof. Bernadene Blaha, Boris Slutsky, Rolf-Peter Wille, and Grace Chung.
Yeh performed Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3 with USC Thornton Symphony under the baton of Maestro Andrés Cárdenes as the first-prize winner of USC Thornton Concerto Competition, and the Gardner Memorial Award winner in the 68th Wideman International Piano Competition. The concerto performance was described as "with highly polished technical facility...rich with subtlety and nuance. Her playing was masterful." by renowned conductor and music educator Larry Livingston. In 2019, Yeh performed Mozart Piano Concerto, K. 467 with USC string ensemble as both soloist and conductor, which revealed her ambition beyond the keyboard. She also made her appearance with Texas Round Top Festival Orchestra as piano soloist, performing Saint-Saens' Carnival of Animals under the baton of Emilio Colon in Young Persons' Concert.
Yeh's recent accolades also include the International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival Competition (Silver Medal), James Ramos International Piano Competition (Silver Medal), the Fresno Musical Club Bell T. Ritchie Award and Susan Torres Award, as well as prizes in the Seattle International Piano Competition and the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition.
Yuhan Yeh and Hanbo Ma, both active chamber musicians, founded the Pacia Piano Duo in 2025. The duo has been invited by Cadence Collective Foundation for two consecutive summer concert tours, performing at Steinway Horowitz Hall in Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, and the Xi'an Conservatory of Music.
In 2021, Yeh was invited by her alma mater Tainan National Girls' High School to give a piano masterclass and lecture. In 2018, she was elected as a Global Outstanding Chinese of the American Golden Tripod Organization, which leads to her performance in San Gabriel Mission Playhouse in 2019. In 2017, she was invited by New Aspect Arts Management to perform in "Salute to Brahms 120!" Piano Solo Concert Series in Taiwan National Concert Hall.
Yeh has worked with pianists Alexander Kobrin, Akira Imai, Oxana Yablonskaya, Mack McCray, Bruce Brubaker, Nelita True, Ning An, Jane Coop, Alexander Gavrylyuk, and Hung-Kuan Chen. She performed in major music festivals such as Aspen Music Festival, the Chautauqua Institution, Round Top Music Festival in Texas, Summit Music Festival in New York, Walnut Hill Music Festival in Boston, InterHarmony International Music Festival in Italy, and Euro Music Festival in Germany.
